Salut. My name is Fredrik. I am an English speaking bass player, songwriter, and film composer living in Paris. I have a lot of experience teaching students on every level from total beginners to experienced musicians. I will be doing my course in English, so we can practice that as well:) My main instrument is the electric bass and I hold a master's degree from Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark. I am also a singer, songwriter, and film composer - having several rock/pop/funk bands and other projects working with kids and adults.

As a teacher, I believe it's important to understand the function of the bass. I like to approach bass playing with the ears of a composer. In my course, we will be playing together or use a jam track to get music in the room instantly! I will also include rhythm exercises, ear training, and basic theory besides training playing the bass... If you are interested to learn about writing your bass lines or other aspects of that I will happily help you or your band in the process. I always plan lessons according to your level and interest.
