À propos de Sarah
About me I’m a native French teacher with a strong background in language teaching. I taught private English lessons for 8 years and have been teaching French as a foreign language since 2022, after training with the Alliance Française. I speak fluent English and have learned several foreign languages myself (German, Italian, Arabic, Lingala, Goun). I know firsthand what adult learners need to feel confident and integrated.

Real-life French for expats and professionals Are you living in France (or planning to move) and need French you can actually use at work and in daily life? I help adult expats and professionals: - communicate naturally with colleagues and clients, - feel confident with doctors, banks, real estate agents and administration, - understand spoken French when people talk fast, - avoid cultural misunderstandings in professional and social settings. My lessons are practical, structured and focused on real communication. ️ A communication-first approach I don’t offer school-style French focused only on grammar rules. We work mainly on: - speaking with confidence, - understanding real spoken French, - pronunciation and fluency, - the cultural codes that make interactions smoother in France. Grammar is used as a tool, not as a goal. Culture & professional integration When should you use tu or vous? Handshake or “la bise”? How do French colleagues really communicate at work? These details matter. I help you understand them and use them naturally. How lessons work - online lessons, flexible scheduling, - realistic situations (work, administration, healthcare, housing), - personalised content based on your goals, - efficient sessions adapted to busy professionals. First lesson The first lesson is used to: - get to know each other, - clarify your objectives, - define a clear and effective learning plan. Me and my wife had online French lessons with Sarah. We found Sarah to be extremely patient and made the learning experience a pleasure and easy to follow. At times when it wasn’t possible to keep to the arranged lesson times, Sarah was very understanding and tried as much as possible to accommodate a different time. We are both extremely grateful for all the help she has given us in progressing to learn French. We would highly recommend her.
