I have taught English and guitar to people from all over the world with all backgrounds and levels in a social center in the French alps for 1 year and several months in groups and in more private lesson setting.

Hello, my name is Andrew 'Andy' Demczuk. I am from California, USA, and now live in Normandy, France! It is quite different here from where I grew up. In a language lesson I love exploring these cultural differences, because they are ever present in everyday speech. Expressions, word play, jokes and folk stories are all woven into daily language. I love taking the time with each student and really try to get a conversation going. Current event discussions, song lyric evaluation and singing (attempting to sing anyway), are the core of my lesson however I can also get technical and talk your ear off about grammar and punctuation. I am also a fan of writing. I encourage students to write weekly journals about their life or whatever they feel like writing about. I have seen great improvement in people that I've helped over the course of a couple of months. I am here to help! I also give guitar lessons if interested! (In French or English)
