My name is Leah and I am from the United States. I have been living in Spain for the past 2 years, teaching English at various institutions and preparing students for the Cambridge Exams. I recently moved to Paris to continue studying and learn French. Before moving to Europe, I studied at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, where I graduated with a double degree in English Comparative Literary Studies and Spanish Studies. I enjoy travelling, learning languages, and discovering new cultures.

As a teacher, I am patient and encouraging. My main goal is to help boost your confidence in speaking English. For conversation classes, I plan my classes around the individual's interests in terms of topics of conversation. For test prep, I like to work from textbooks and exercise sheets, and also use videos and supplementary material to expand the preparation. For basic tutoring, I can change the class to best suit the student.

Leah was an outstanding English teacher. She is energetic and adaptable: in my case I wanted to focus especially in oral expression and she provided a bunch of different methods in order to pursue that goal. Besides, she introduced me into numerous anglophone cultural references.
