Hi, my name is Daman. I'm a passionate maths tutor with a proven track record. Having achieved an A in IGCSE Extended Mathematics myself, I know exactly what it takes to succeed and, more importantly, how to get there.
In the past year, I've had the pleasure of volunteering and helping students build real confidence in the subject, turning frustration into understanding and anxiety into results. Whether you're preparing for exams or simply trying to keep up with class, I'm here to help you get there.

My approach to teaching is built on three core pillars: inquiry-based learning, visual demonstration, and explicit instruction. Rather than simply delivering information, I guide my students to think critically, ask the right questions, and arrive at understanding on their own terms, with me there every step of the way to provide clarity and structure.
I follow the Cambridge curriculum as my foundation, but my lessons go beyond just ticking boxes. I firmly believe that true academic confidence comes from mastering the fundamentals first. That's why I always begin by building a solid foundation before gradually increasing the level of challenge, ensuring that every student feels a genuine sense of achievement as they progress, rather than feeling overwhelmed.
Each lesson is thoughtfully structured to balance visual explanation, direct teaching, and open dialogue. I make heavy use of visual demonstrations to bring concepts to life, because I've found that when students can see an idea, it sticks far longer than when they simply read or hear it.
I take real pride in turning a student's frustration into curiosity and curiosity into confidence. I also tailor every lesson to the individual, whether a student is a visual learner, needs more practice time, or requires a slower pace. I adapt to what works best for them.
My lessons are primarily aimed at IGCSE and O Level students, though I comfortably teach learners ranging from Year 5 all the way through to Year 11. Whatever the starting point, my goal is always the same: to help every student reach their full potential.
