À propos de Yanis
Yanis Eberhart, born into a Franco-German family, grew up in Canada and the United States. He holds a Bachelor's degree in violin and composition from the University of Houston, as well as a Bachelor's degree in historical performance from The Hague, Netherlands. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in baroque violin under the guidance of internationally renowned musicians Sophie Gent and Eva Saladin.
Alongside his career as a concert performer, Yanis is passionate about teaching. With nearly 10 years of experience, he teaches violin, composition, and theoretical subjects. Yanis is known as being a calm and patient teacher, and places great importance on adapting his teaching approach to each student.

Yanis Eberhart has a passion for teaching theoretical music principles and breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-grasp chunks. His expertise includes counterpoint (renaissance, baroque, classical), form analysis, early music notation, and musical rhetoric. Yanis values the importance of developing a firm understanding of the building blocks of composition, whether classical, electronic (Ableton), folk, or pop.
