Since arriving in Paris, I have worked at The Speaking Agency as an english professor, as well as tutoring private students on a one on one basis. I have helped them prepare for interviews, school examinations and I am very flexible to the requests of any student.

Hello,
My name is Jonathan, I am a 24 year old native english speaker from Calgary, Canada, who has been living Paris for just over one year. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary and also studied for one year at the University of Amsterdam on an exchange. I grew up in an international background, living in Thailand, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates as a child. In Paris, I work as a tour guide at the Louvre and Versailles, and offer english lessons in the late afternoons and evenings.
Why hire me as a one on one tutor?
Learning a new language can be a daunting task, but my job is to make learning an enjoyable and interactive experience. We can work together to tailor the lessons to your needs and interests, whether you are starting from step one or need help improving and practicing.
Based on which level you are at, I can offer a language introduction, help with grammar correction, improving your pronunciation or aiding in conversational practice. We will study english news articles and can include topics of your choice to make learning more relatable to your interests.
My courses are offered to students of all ages and the aim is to walk away with a greater knowledge and understanding of the language. We can meet at a café or park of your choice in the Le Marais district.
