À propos de Marie
I am French, a cultural exchange lover and traveller and I've lived in 3 countries already. I have studied Ancient and Modern Greek and Latin, Indo-European languages, Ancient French and Modern French, Spanish and Ancient English and Modern English. I am always eager to learn and to meet with people from all over the world.
I am fully qualified (MA in French as a Foreign Language and double BA English and French Literature, plus equivalent to French Public Primary School Teacher Training). But more importantly I have a lot of experience providing fun and accurate tailor-made learning environment to toddlers, adults, teenagers or even whole families or teams!

I can help you improve pronunciation or fluency (corrective phonetics), be more aware of your linguistic strengths and weaknesses, help you focus on what you want to improve and how to get there.
Building your own autonomy in language learning is one of my key working goals!

Bonjour!
I've been a Teacher and Trainer for over 12 years in in France and in England (Oxford). I am happy to provide formal individual or small group language classes, or more informal sessions (ie. with a glass of wine or cup of tea, in a public place or your home, according to your needs and likes):
- French (or English) conversation
- Professional French (or English : daily professional communication and adapting to your field of expertise)
- Phonetics and corrective phonetics (intonation, rhythm, accent, pronunciation, etc.)
- French Literature, English Literature and other Arts
- Confidence / Public speaking / Personal learning goals (ie. French for cooking or sewing etc)
- Exams preparation (TCF, DELF/DALF, IELTS, TOEIC, Cambridge, etc.)
- Tailor-made learning program to follow in between of after lessons if you wish (never compulsory)
- Arts and crafts, singing or board games included, or even walking or sitting outdoor lessons can be imagined! Just ask.
No matter if you are just starting, have forgotten all what you have learnt at school, have been struggling for long or are an expert already: I can help you enjoy more of your chosen language and reach your goals or dreams. I can also provide "linguistic coaching" to help you get out of your shell, get confident in your chosen language build new / helpful learning strategies, and stick to your self-learning plans.
Blended learning with online and face-to-face lessons can be organised or 100% online lessons (9-21 5/7 Paris time online or Thonon only). My rates decrease according to the amount of hours you take each week, and if you are taking regular lessons or gathering into groups (15 - 40 eur / hour depending on your age and goals, rates decreasing if you take more than 1 session weekly or for intensive learning periods, detailed rates and references on demand). CESU (Chèque Emploi Service) accepted and preferred as - 50% possible for you in French tax credit or reduction. Services swaps can also be an option if need be.
BONUS: Free informal groups to practise your French or English and other social events to be organised soon, free for my students or 5 eur/pers. drop in.

Tarifs dégressifs selon la fréquence des séances et les objectifs poursuivis (ex soutien scolaire bilingue 25 eur/h max pour une heure /semaine mais 19 eur/h pour plus de deux heures par semaine , cours adulte indviduel 45 eur/h pour 1 heure par semaine, mais 39 eur/h à partir de 2h par semaine etc. Tarifs complets / devis sur demande. 1e heure entretien gratuit!
