À propos de Dafa
I am a fluent English speaker, passionate about communication. I work in an American company in Paris leading the communication of many projects and presentations to senior-level colleagues. In the past I’ve taught English to kids between the ages of 3-6 years old, focusing on their favorite topics and interests as a base before eventually elevating their vocabulary and grammar. I currently dedicate 2 hours per week doing a language exchange with a friend who works in the legal department of a leading French luxury company and who wants to improve her English communication skills. I am open to improving your English level in all topics that interest you, I'm particularly good at business French, as well as everyday conversations and idioms to sound like a fluent English speaker. I'm open/flexible to many language learning approaches but the ones I prefer and see the best results are:
“Communicative language teaching“
Learning how to use your language skills to communicate in the real world and focusing on fluency of communication rather than accuracy. My lessons are more hands-on than theoretical at the beginning.
"Direct Method teaching"
Which means that all my teaching happens in English, which will encourage you to think and speak in English without using your native language (unless absolutely necessary). This will allow you to work out key grammar concepts by practicing the language and by building up your exposure to it. Some techniques I use are Q&As, conversation, reading out load and writing, while I correct you via text/chatbox to be able to look back at the corrections later on and improve for the next session (s) and future conversations.
