À propos de Jessica
Hello! I am an American-trained lawyer living in Paris, licensed to practice law in both California and New York. I graduated in the top of my class from Brown University and completed my J.D. at UCLA School of Law. I am a native English speaker from California and fluent in French. Although I am new to Superprof, I have over 10 years of experience creating tailored learning experiences for legal and other professionals in the U.S. and France.

Currently, I provide private and group lessons to French corporate lawyers, including associates and partners, both in-person and online. Teaching is my passion, and I take great joy in creating meaningful learning experiences for my students.
In our lessons, we will work together to identify your specific interests and areas for improvement in both written and spoken English. Every lesson will be custom-designed to address your unique needs. Activities may include reading articles to enhance pronunciation and vocabulary, thematic debates and discussions, translating French written work or communications into English, preparing for English-language meetings, presentations, or networking events in English, honing legal English vocabulary and legal writing, contract drafting and negotiations, and improving your ability to speak with precision and eloquence on industry-specific topics and current events. I can also suggest preparatory homework, which we’ll review during our lessons, including listening to legal or business podcasts, summarizing articles, watching short videos, and preparing written English content. I will provide guidance and corrections throughout our lessons.
My lessons cater to those with intermediate to advanced English proficiency. My primary goal is to boost your confidence in English communication within your professional life. You likely know more than you think – it is just a matter of connecting the dots and practicing!
