À propos d'Ashwika
I am a passionate Carnatic vocalist trained in the traditional South Indian classical music system. Music has been a part of my life since childhood, and over the years, I’ve developed both a deep appreciation for its spiritual essence and a structured understanding of its techniques. Currently, I’m a Global BBA student at SKEMA Business School in Lille, and I continue to share the beauty of Carnatic music with students from different cultural backgrounds. My goal as a teacher is to help each learner connect with the soul of the music while gaining confidence in their voice and rhythm. I believe that Carnatic music is not just about notes and theory — it’s about discipline, emotion, and self-discovery. Whether you are completely new to Indian classical music or already have experience, I will guide you patiently, ensuring every lesson is inspiring and meaningful.

My classes are designed to make Carnatic music approachable, enjoyable, and deeply meaningful — whether you’re completely new to Indian classical music or already have some experience. Each lesson focuses on building strong fundamentals while encouraging expression and creativity. We begin with basic voice training and swara (note) exercises, then gradually explore ragas, talas (rhythmic cycles), and simple compositions. As you progress, you’ll learn varnams, krithis, and bhajans that match your level and vocal range. I adapt every session to your goals — whether you want to: Develop your voice and pitch accuracy Learn traditional compositions Understand the theory and emotion behind Carnatic music Or simply connect with a new culture through melody and rhythm My teaching style is calm, patient, and structured. I explain each concept clearly, relate it to examples from well-known artists, and make sure you understand both the technique and the feeling behind the music. Classes are available online (Zoom or Google Meet). All lessons are taught in English. Together, we’ll explore how Carnatic music can help you build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for singing.
