À propos de Marilyne
I take my French lessons very seriously as I want to make it my main occupation further down the line. I am currently preparing to enroll at the University to get my FLE diploma (Français Langues étrangères - French for foreigners).
It takes me 1 to 4 hours to prepare my lessons as I make all the content myself and send it to the students a few days before the lesson. No book is needed beforehand and they can use my content as a base for their studying whenever they need to.
I have been teaching for over a year now, I started when I lived in Australia, back in July 2021. I have had several students, of differents backgrounds, age and level in French.

Hi! My name is Marilyne, I'm French and I've been living in Paris my whole life and I have been teaching French to foreigners for over a year now.
I can teach absolute beginners to intermediate level students. I prepare the content of all my lessons by myself (theory lessons, quizzes, exercises, games etc). I gather information from books and online sources that I carefully put together in a way that I find the most comprehensible and easy to go through. I always personalise my lessons to be as close to the student's needs as possible and try to diversify my approach to teaching as much as I can using French books, movies and games that I include in my lessons and that I can lend to students if they want to practice at home.
To give you an example, a typical lesson with me (1h or 1h30) would start with a quick quizz to revise precedent lessons (15min), followed with a theory lesson on one topic (pronunciation, present tense, grammar etc) (30 min), a conversation to apply what we just discussed (30min) and a game (15min).
That being said, my lessons are never really the same because I always adapt to the student and what they like to do or not.
My ultimate goal is to make French learning approachable, practical and FUN!
