• A quel âge avez-vous commencé à faire du sport ? Parlez-nous de cette époque (évidemment pas si lointaine) ?

  The main sport I have always played is in between a sport and an art: Ballet! I started dancing when I was two years old following my mother who was a ballet teacher. I wasn't sure I would have transformed this into my career until when I was 14 and I started dancing full-time.

• Quels sont vos sports favoris, ceux que vous pratiquez à haut niveau, en tant que simples loisirs ou que vous aimeriez découvrir ?

  My favourite sports are iceskating, skiing and playing badminton. I have spent many winters I skating as a child and really liked this sport! The constant feeling of improving and learning is something I am addicted to…

• Donnez-nous envie d'enfiler un short en nous expliquant ce que vous apporte le sport au quotidien !

  I couldn't imagine a life without sports. Sport gives you rhythm, health, vitality and the capacity to focus and be successful in life. It doesn't matter whether you're moving once a week or every single day, the body will feel the benefit of sports instantly.

• Quel exploit sportif vous a marqué ou inspiré (voire donné envie de chanter I will survive toute la journée) ? Dites-nous comment vous l'avez vécu !

  The greatest achievement in my balletic career was landing my first job. I was 17 and the audition environment was fierce up to 500 girls were in the same audition competing for one or two spots and being assigned a fixed contract in a big prestigious company was a dream come true, it taught me that hard work pays off.

• Parlez-nous de votre plus bel accomplissement en tant que sportif !

  I don't have one single event that represents my greatest achievement. I have won prestigious competitions such as first prize at Premio MAB Which is one of the main balletic events in Italy at the age of 19. However, the biggest achievement was being able to do more complex moves every day with more ease. Achievement was dancing the roles I had always dreamt of feeling flawless in my technique.

• Si vous deviez faire un jogging avec un sportif de renom, lequel serait-ce ? Et quelles questions lui poseriez-vous (si vous arrivez à courir à son rythme et qu'il vous reste encore un peu de salive) ?

  I would gladly go jogging with Carolina Costner which is a wonderful ice skater and I would ask her what is the thing thing that kept her going in the darkest moments of her career and what she misses most about skating now that she retired.

• Comment vous y prenez-vous pour qu'un élève garde "l'oeil du tigre" et persévère dans l'effort ?

  I believe praise and honest feedback play a crucial role when it comes to motivating a student. Excess negativity crashes their spirit and excess praise doesn't allow them to respect and guidance they need. Keeping it real whilst always believing in their potential is my approach to motivating my students.

• Qu'est-ce qui fait de vous un super sportif… et un Superprof ?

  What made me stand out in the Ballet world was my determination and my intelligence. I didn't have an extremely gifted body and I had to work as hard to achieve that the results that I achieved this I have learnt that an impeccable technique is a must, Determination and mindset are crucial and that passion for what you do is a secret ingredient that makes you excel. What makes me stand out as a teacher is a deep understanding I have of what I teach. I have also studied anatomy and psychology which allows me to connect with a mindset of my students and shape them into the athletes they want to become!
